Marvel phase 4 theories

Hey there random geek ,welcome back to your beloved geek house. The post before this one stated the possible theories regarding the grand finale of marvel's much hyped cinematic universe - the infinity war. Well it is ,as they say, the conclusion to the first three phases of marvel (fan boy moment) but the question arises what lies thereafter ?

There's not much news given by marvel regarding the phase 4 of this worldwide phenomena we call the MCU but there have been speculations, theories and assumption that have been the topics of debates for us fans.Without wasting much time , lets just jump right into the good stuff.

1. the secret invasion

when the captain marvel movie was announced it was said to draw influence from the kree-skrull war storyline . captain marvel is said to appear in the next phase of marvel but if they drop her in the fourth avengers movie it would not be the worst thing. It is said to focus on the secret invasion storyline and is set in the 90's . The skrees are genetically manipulated extraterrestrial shapeshifters

that infiltrated earth under the leadership of queen varenke. they were infiltrating the earth for quite some time by capturing and replacing some of the earth's mightiest heroes.

Fiegi's take on this would be one hell of a ride and just look at the possibilities. Might be that our beloved fury just be an alien imposter who wants to conquer the earth. i think i'm having second thoughts .....

2. the x-men crossover

according to sources there have been talks of the x-men joining the mcu and it is also believed that a deal could be formulating between disney and fox that would come into action by the end of this year. With the presence of the the time gem we can confidently say that there is a possibility of introducing the uncanny mutants in the mcu and it would change the course of the movies completely . I mean just imagine wolverine fighting side by side with the hulk or with him! who knows.

fiegi has also shown interest in getting hands on the x-men characters . I think its for the best as after watching x-men apocalypse , i'm done with fox.

3. the fantastic four crossover

with them getting their hands on x-men why not grab the fantastic four as well and save the drowning franchise. In spiderman homecoming the stark tower was abandoned by Tony and it is the best chance for the fantastic four to get it while the deal is still on. And also the fact that there have been talks of getting the said franchise back along with the x-men . I think its time for the four to get a proper movie and it would be a golden opportunity for the avengers to fight some big villains such as annihilius,galactus,Dr.Doom,etc and even meet the cosmic being silver surfer. I mean its profitable for both fox and Disney.

4. everyone dies and are reborn by the time stone

We have already seen the power of the time stone in Dr.Strange and how he managed to defeat Dormammu himself with it but this magical and powerful cosmic entity in the hands of Thanos would not do much good to the earth's mightiest heores. According to the assumption we can come to the conclusion that mostly everyone will die in infinity war and if this theory is true in any way we can say that somebody like Dr strange would come to the rescue and change the events of infinity war by manipulating time and this would lead to marvel changing some of the actors for our beloved characters because RDJ can't play the role of tony stark for the rest of his life i mean dude's way over fifty now , give him a break.

This may also lead to the introduction of the x-men and the fantastic four in the mcu. It could alter all the events happened so far and would completely change the face of the mcu. This was also said by Kevin Feigi in an interview that the fourth avengers movie would completely change the mcu we've known . Well it would mean the disappearance of some of the familiar faces and i'm not ready for it.

5. the passing of the shield

well by the title you would've already guessed what i'll be talking about. THE DEMISE OF THE CAPTAIN. Yes its a little hard to take in but according to the comics he was supposed to die in civil war so ..meh. This theory states the possibility that the death of steve rogers would lead to some other character taking over the role of captain america. Most likely bucky barnes who currently is the winter soldier but everyone needs a bit of a makeover time to time. It could also be taken over by steve's birdie friend - falcon. well if you think , technically speaking captain america already died in civil war by steve giving up the role of captain and probably attaining the new title of the nomad as the death is figurative not literal. But nothing could be said for sure until the infinity war is released.

all of these theories are just a glimpse of possibilities that can be executed in the movies .

some more possibilities include :

• the introduction of the supernatural beings like the ghost rider,blade etc

• a proper black widow movie

• guardians of the galaxy vol.3

• introduction of the nova corps (imagine a kid discovering and wearing a helmet on a destroyed planet of nova corps and swearing to kill thanos...... i mean, a man could dream ,right?)

• the introduction of the sinister six storyline

• diving down into the spider-verse

• exploration of the sub-atomic and cosmic worlds

• the movies in phase 4 include - captain marvel, gotg vol3, spiderman 2, namor, black panther 2, ant -man and the wasp, doctor strange 2, and the others are yet to be assumed.

so to sum it up marvel is up for 20 more movies after avengers 4 and as others say we truly live in the golden age of comic book movies and DC please learn something from marvel i mean its straight ass embarrassing .
